What creates morality in the face of nature’s implacable violence and ruthless competition? A society of self-aware individuals. With sentience comes (a somewhat constrained) agency and choice, or free will.
The Church Universal and Triumphant’s Royal Teton Ranch abuts the north entrance to Yellowstone. Bison have been slaughtered on or near church property in past years.
Ridicule of unexamined and unsupportable beliefs is not bigotry. Would it be bigotry if I ridiculed someone for believing in a flat-earth?
“Clean Coal” isn’t. Nuclear carries unacceptable risks and a huge waste disposal problem, and ethanol is worse than oil.
